FAQ
Does it cost money to become an Ambassador? No
What does an Ambassador do? Once you sign up, you will get a custom link, graphics and text that you can share with your family and friends.
Do I have to set a goal? It is ideal to set a goal. It keeps people interested and drives donations. Whatever the number, see if you can start with gathering 10 donations and go from there!
How big of a goal should I set? As large or as small as you like. The community would of course benefit from the largest goal possible. If you can, try to dedicate a room or Mezuzah in honor of someone.
What if I don’t know anyone who will give me money? The only criteria for being a good ambassador is to have a network, and reach out to your network. Your network includes your family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, trusted advisors, teachers, children… you get the idea!
What if I don’t know what to say if I ask people for a donation? Try to begin with a story. Ask them to join you in this super important cause. Something that's touching always resonates. Be direct. Say you're calling because we have an urgent need in our community.
What happens if I don’t make my goal? Nothing. All we can do is try our best. We will supply you with text writing and graphics throughout the campaign so you don't need to think of anything on your own. All we ask is that you copy and paste it into your communication with your network.
